About the client: Our client, a fast-growing and dynamic company specializing in heat network solutions, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support their continued expansion. The company offers services from metering & billing to complete end-to-end maintenance of heating systems across the UK. This role focuses on driving growth within their maintenance services and nurturing key client relationships. About the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and growing the pipeline for heat network maintenance. This includes building and managing relationships with contractors, consultants, housing associations, property developers, and local authorities. You will also create tailored proposals and develop client solutions to meet both customer and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage a pipeline of maintenance opportunities, targeting new and existing customers. Develop and deliver proposals, collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs. Strengthen existing relationships and foster new ones within the housing and property development sectors. Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events to expand market presence. Become an expert in the company’s services, particularly in the operational management of heat networks. Skills and Experience: Essential: Experience within the HVAC industry or selling into housing associations, developers, contractors, or local authorities. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both face-to-face and virtually. Proven ability to develop tailored client solutions. Self-motivated, target-driven, and well-organized. Competent in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Desirable:Experience in sales or relationship management within the low-carbon heating sector. Knowledge of the housing sector and track record of meeting sales targets. Salary and Benefits: Up to £45k per annum depending on experience. £5k travel allowance.
