Southern Water has now reached over 40,000 meter upgrades as part of the Meter Upgrade Programme -a major milestone achieved through fast mobilisation and effective collaboration with Horizon Water Infrastructure, SUEZ, and M Group Water.
Reflecting on the pace of delivery, Southern Water shared on LinkedIn:

Sisko has been supporting this programme by sourcing and preparing the workforce for field delivery. We run assessment days to identify candidates with the right skillset, both skilled and non-skilled, and brought them into our workforce. Since the start, we’ve run eight cohorts of inductions at our Cams Hall training centre in Fareham, preparing Installers for field deployment. The induction programme includes various elements such as Water Hygiene training, Rig training, Emergency First Aid at Work, Asbestos training, IT/system training, all arranged and delivered by Sisko. This ensures every Installer is fully equipped, confident, and capable of delivering installations efficiently and safely.
The trained workforce is now actively supporting meter upgrades across the region, helping deliver tangible benefits for customers, including accurate billing, faster leak detection, and improved service reliability.
