We’re delighted to congratulate Harry Thomas MBA CMgr FCMI on his promotion to Contract Director.

Harry joined the utilities industry in 2018 as a novice Dual Fuel Engineer, introduced into the sector by our Managing Director, Greg Welch. Since then, he has demonstrated exceptional, progression, and leadership, working his way through the industry into senior operational leadership and now stepping into the role of Contract Director.

Over the past decade, Harry has built an impressive career focused on operational performance, workforce mobilisation, and service improvement. Originally starting out in horticulture and plant science, he developed an early appreciation for long-term thinking, interconnected systems, and the impact of environmental change — foundations that later influenced his move into the energy and utilities sector.

Throughout his career, Harry has led frontline and senior operational teams, managed large-scale field workforces, improved delivery performance, and supported businesses through periods of growth and transformation in demanding operational environments.

Known for his data-led but people-first approach, Harry believes strong teams perform best when they are given clarity, trust, and the right environment to succeed. His leadership style reflects a strong commitment to operational excellence, accountability, and sustainable delivery.

Harry’s promotion to Contract Director is a reflection of both his experience and the impact he continues to make across the business.
